SELECTING AND CONFIGURING A PLUGIN FOR PREORDER FUNCTIONALITY

• Seamless Integration with Shopify: The chosen solution, Preorder Now Wolf, integrates seamlessly with Shopify, ensuring a smooth user experience for both customers and store administrators
  
• Flexible Preorder Configuration: The plugin allows for granular control over preorder settings, such as enabling preorders for specific products, setting custom messages, and managing inventory
  
• Clear and Informative Preorder Notifications: The plugin provides clear notifications to customers about their preorder status, estimated shipping times, and any updates related to their order

A simpler solution would have been to hide the Buy button and add a text field for customers to enter their email to be notified when sales begin. However, this method doesn’t allow customers to place a preorder or pay in advance. After researching several options, we selected the Preorder Now Wolf app, which enables the Buy button to be replaced with a Preorder button for specific products.

Customers can preorder and pay for out-of-stock products in advance, providing greater convenience. In the site’s admin panel, preorder items are labeled with a specific “preorder” tag, allowing for easy tracking and management.
